My great grand used to make a dish she called "freshkadelis".
All I remember is: she would chop bacon, onions and garlic, fry those then add chicken stock and tomato sauce along with diced tomatoes and spices.
She'd let that simmer for hours, then she would make a wet dough of flour, salt and eggs, and just roll that between her hands so these little dough balls would fall into the simmering sauce.
Does anyone have an idea what this recipe is called and how to make it, more precisely than my memories?
Thanks in advance!
