Italian Citron/candied fruit

Discovered a source for excellent "homemade" style Italian citron/candied fruit (cherries, lemon, lime, orange or mixed fruits) for use in holiday baking [dare I say fruitcake, which seemingly I alone love, or those great old-fashioned fruit "gem" cookies] at Caper on Fillmore Street/between California and Sacramento, west side. Store has rather esoteric assortment of expensive food items. This was actually only thing I've found so far that I wanted to purchase after perusing for past year. Pricey, at $6.50 a lb., but well worth the expense.
