I ran across a new (4 month old) Italian bakery in Sonoma. They have about two dozen different types of cookies from biscotti to Orsi di Morte (dead mans bones). They also have pastries.
I tried five different ones, some tastes light like merangue dipped in chocolate and others were based on a butter cookie batter. Very good for a mid-morning snack.
