I remember some good Italian food places over the years. Went to a few of the old places and found none still open. Was looking for an old place called Resturante on a little street off of Gentilly Blvd next to the library just past the park commision and Dillard university. It was upstairs. I recalled that was one of the very beat in the area. Anyway, I will be looking for some southern Italian cooking with well seasoned red gravies and meat/chicken etc. Any suggestions. Cost not a factor for the first week. The other two weeks it will be a factor. Also remember Ruffino's in the French Quarter. I assume that is still there. Is that right? Thanks to all in advance.
