ISO sticky rice with preserved meat and dried shrimp

Usually called "sang chow lo mai fan" (I think) and served in an inverted glass bowl on a small plate, this dish when prepared properly is one of my favourite comfort foods.

It is sometimes available at Dim Sum places but if it sits on the cart too long gets cold and dry and unpleasant (Forestview) or is way too greasy (Congee Star).

Dynasty on Bloor did one which was pretty good though expensive and a bit plain, I thought.
Dragon Dynasty had a good one but quite expensive and I live downtown.

It is easy and really cheap to make but I no longer have access to a gas wok ring and my medium sized wok won't fit on the hottest burner on my electric stove :(

Hoping to find something downtown but willing to travel.
