These sound like great nibbling cookies. I've had the key lime coolers (TJ's used to carry them) but not the other two.
What are benne seeds, and who can describe these low country cookies?
I saw a bit on the Chipotle Choc Chip cookies on "Unwrapped" on the Food Channel. They're made by a New jersey company, Sparx Cookies. They haven't made it to this area of the West Coast, so I thought I'd try to make them. They supposedly have both chipotle and cayenne, though not too much. Looks like they put about 1/2 c total in with about 5 or more gallons of dough. Anybody make these? Any ingredient suggestions for the best flavor? It looked like a pretty standard choc chip recipe: flour. salt, b. powder, eggs, (I missed what kind of fat they used, but the cookies are dairy kosher if that helps)white and brown sugar, choc chips and the chili.
Any cookie monsters out there care to weigh (ha) in on this?
