I had a recipe that I'm almost certain was from Dorie Greenspan - the unusual thing was the recipe specified that you use quick-cooking oats - NOT regular oats. I know it was from a well-known baker because it was a surprise that that's what they used. They are wonderful...thin and like lace. Also I think the ratio of butter to dry ingredients was higher than usual. I sold them in my Etsy shop in 2009...can't find the recipe!
