I just received an Big Saver ad that indicated (subject to weather conditions and availability) that 30 lb bags of fresh Hatch chiles can be purchased (and roasted!) at their Pico Rivera market this weekend.
I also remember a Huell Howser show in recent years that showed a similar event (at a college?) in Puente.
Does anyone know where to get reliable info and advance warning of these deliveries?
