We're going to Scotland in early May for 10 days. We'll spend the first part with friends in Glasgow, then drive up to the Isle of Skye for a few nights. We're interested in eating (not terribly extravagant/expensive food-- but good, local eats), hiking/walking, and general exploring-- we've never been to Scotland before.
It looks like the Isle of Skye is rather large. Can anyone advise where to stay, eat, or hang out? Are some parts of the island more interesting than others?
