Are any of you hounds going to the Iron Horse party on October 14th? If so let's hook up. For those of you who's interest I've piqued, I regret to announce that I think you have to be a memeber of their wine club to be invited. Mind you, you should be. As an admitted Champagne snob who rarely finds CA versions that compare, I do think their sparkling wines are terrific. We tasted the 92 Blanc de Blanc the day after an 85 Dom and found it to be a dead ringer. Their still wines are great too. All in all, we tried practically the entire line (approx 15 wines) and found nearly all of them to be outstanding with the rest nice enough. At anyrate, drop me a line if you'll be there.
