Went to the Iron Horse Grill last night (now for the second time) and continue to love this restaurant. The service is efficient, knowlegeable and personal. Although the tables are close and it is a bit noisy, I can overlook that because the food is great. We arrived early and my husband had the pre theatre prix-fixe which included a good and copious salad, halibat in an interesting sauce and choice of dessert and coffee. In addition to it being very good, it was also a very good value. I had two appetizers-- one with duck proscuitto, cerliac remoulade (sp?), and then another of warm fois gras (sp?) great duck liver from New York State with a wonderful slightly tart, light sauce. The chef said that he would be preparing tht dish on Channel 12 today. I saw the review yesterday in The Times and agree- can't wait to get back.
