Irashai in chinatown... meh

gourmaniac | Aug 25, 201111:04 AM     5

To continue with the sushi and meh theme, I just tried Irashai, a new sushi place on Kneeland between Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds. it's better than either of those. Serviceable sushi and not overpriced but nothing exceptional. Its a cute room and friendly service. Wide array of makis and i thought it a nice feature that the sushi/maki combo ($10.00 for lunch) included a seared white tuna nigiri so not just the usual suspects. If you have a sushi itch in that part of town, Irashai is a little below Ginza and Montien and better than the super cheap place in the old Chinatown mall location.
