Invited to potluck party and brought main dish, feelin used

darlenebb | Aug 27, 201910:14 AM     45

Feel used when asked to bring ribs and chicken for potluck event for 40 people and the person organizing brought a plate of brownies and some decorations. Dumb me agreed to bring two racks of ribs and a large chicken platter for a event for a group involved in.

The lady hosting the event advertised it as barbecue and games. When I was concerned that only one other person was bringing ribs she indicated it was fine. As I got there she had brought only a tray of brownies. There were four racks of ribs and only enough for one per person and on her and her mates plate they had six ribs. I was very upset that I was used, and their was not enough food. She has been very cheap in other occasion, and I have brought the main dish. I get that not everyone can cook but you can go to the store and buy a tray of food. Live and learn very upset at myself.
