We were invited to the Harvard Club over 20 years ago for a brunch before a red sox game.

One of the items was a pate with toasted bread and a red or claret sauce which was absolutely delicious. I have been trying to find a similar recipe. It was not cranberry sauce. I have been looking for this for years. Any help?
