Here's something that our Chinese forum members may find amusing. I went to Henry's Hunan recently for the first time. It was the one on Sansome. I thought there might be a possibility of a real Hunan meal there so I took the chance. Well, I asked the waitress in Chinese about the joint and she told me and I quote " Ahh..dont bother everything here is made for foreigners..this is American Chinese, not what your'e used to". Wow, I couldnt believe she was so honest. Looking around the dining room ,though, I should have guessed as there were no Chinese customers. Anyway I decided to order Guoba(sizzling rice cakes) and it wasn't too bad. The funny thing is when the waitress delivered said dish she announced "And now the American Guoba is coming"..she really made me laugh!
