Most interesting restaurants/chefs/plates in Phoenix?

yogieats | Aug 13, 201510:45 PM     3

So excited to be traveling to Phoenix in September to satisfy two passions - music and eating!

Will be in Phoenix for two and a half full days (first night in Phoenix, second night in Scottsdale), and I am looking forward to experiencing some of the best culinary treats/chefs that the area has to offer! I'm researching to plan FIVE meals - TWO lunches, ONE saturday brunch, and TWO dinner recommendations.

My friend and I are big on food and we love trying delicious and interesting restaurants and cuisines during our travels. I love discovering new takes on traditional dishes, but also have a soft spot for traditional dishes done incredibly right (I love a good old Nonna's recipe).

Also, a fan of trying new restaurants over established landmarks, but if there's something I MUST HAVE, please include in replies. :)

If you have any suggestions for our weekend getaway, please let me know!

Favorite Cuisines: Japanese, Italian, New American, Latin American and Street/Comfort Food.

Thank you in advance for helping me plan some memorable meals!
