This morning 2-2-04 slate.com has an article on the recent emphasis on novelty in haute cuisine---when you get to slate.com, click onto "Beware of Foaming Chefs". If you're not familiar with slate.com, every article is followed by access to The Fray, a highly opinionated message board. Click onto "Read Messages" to get to it. Fraysters always have at least as much to say as the original author, and of course you too can join The Fray.
