I live in SoCal and the Ralph's supermarket chain recently introduced fresh hot carnitas in their hot deli. The carnitas are really good on their own but i had about a half pound left over from dinner and wanted to try something different. I decided they would make a really good pulled pork. I took about a half cup of Sweet Baby Ray's Hot n' Spicy barbecue sauce and jazzed it up with some red wine vinegar, crushed red pepper and fresh ground black pepper. I shredded the leftover carnitas and simmered them in the sauce for few minutes and voila! BBQ pulled pork! And just as good or better than anything from the local BBQ joints.
