Instant Boba source?

The chowspouse and chow-pup have developed a taste for Thai shaved ice, halo-halo, and similar deserts starchy and sugary. This, of course, sent me off to the Asian grocery (on Sunset in Echo Park; is it "A-1", or something like that?) for an ice-shaver and ingredients.

Which brings me to tapioca. What I got was apparently the "non-instant" tapioca, which requires some 45+ minutes of cooking and soaking, to yield usable bobas, creating a vast quantity of slimy starch water in the process.

Like baking bread, somebody must be doing this on an industrial scale. Where can I get pre-made pre-reconstituted boba? I'm thinking they'd be in jars or plastic tubs, and would probably be refrigerated.
