City Girl- Cozy spot for dinner or lunch. Great vibe. Meatball sliders, yeah!
Spice and Rice- Thai slop. No thanks
Montien- The same, thank you.
S&S Deli- Only have had their breakfast, and their breakfast is trying.
AllStar Sandwich- Hit or miss, but the gobbler's got legs.
Cristina's Ice Cream- Overrated.
East Coast Grill- See above- Hit or miss, fun can be overrated.
Indian Takeout Place, (on Beacon) - Cheap, swillish.
Indian on Cambridge St & Prospect- Demented.
Ole- Tasty if overpriced.
Olecito- Very fine burrito, cheap, elegant (kidding).
Rosie's Bakery- Cakes for tomorrow baked 4 days ago.
1369- Bittersweet coffee shop/gulag. Dog bagels. And, yeah, I go there too.
MidWest Grill- Wacky, salty, suburban.
Pizza Place on Prospect and Cambridge (Help me here)- not pizza. and not an ironic tribute to pizza either.
Casa Portugal- old worldy, stodgy, bland.
Casal's Bakery- assortment of euro-candies, but a bakery, no!

frankly, I miss Jaes hot and sour soup, not to mention their short ribs lunch box....

Bukowskis (SP?)- Ugh!
Magnolia's- good kitchen, tired menu.
Oleana- tasty, trendy, and just a bit fey...

and speaking of missing: jake and earls, pulled pork, burnt ends, yowsa....
