I will be spending 3 days at the Ink48 hotel next week. In meetings all day and staying there every night. I am looking for great options to get out of the hotel for: coffee, after dinner drinks and lunches.

I used to live in Greenpoint and work in Soho until one year ago. I love cold brew, Nola style coffee and do believe that coffee in nyc is superior when it comes to third wave coffee--I so miss nyc coffee shops! I miss great Asian food (is Pam real thai still worth it?) and wonderful nyc service. I also miss new american and seasonal locavore places. I have always loved the batali places but always hated the crowds and I do enjoy a wine bar with a passionate, friendly bartender or a place where I can discover new, obscure things - and where they are friendly enough to help me doing so. Bourbon is always great. Dive bars are also good. Good late night bar food would be perfect.

Obviously willing to travel away from the hotel but would love a few stand bys nearby.
