White sugar - I've had it get hard on me but I know in olden days they had cones of solid sugar and would scrape off what they needed so it seems it would never spoil.
Salt - does it lose potency like other spices or will it last forever?
Alcohol - I don't drink but keep some on hand for cooking and baking. Will Grand Marnier and Cognac last indefinitely? I've had them on the shelf for several years.
Cocoa powder - will this go rancid at some point?
Vinegar - I've had plain white vinegar for 3 or 4 years but some balsamic seemed to go bad after a year or so.
