I may be going to Leh for 3-4 days at the beginning of October. Does anyone have any information on the place? Where and what to eat? I have this nagging, possibly unfounded, fear that I shall have to ingest tough, unappetizing yak by-products, and I'm wondering whether I should bring food with me.
I've been to Delhi and Bombay, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food there, but I know nothing about food near the Himalayas.
And, oh, yes, any idea what the weather will be like?
