Inexpensive & Excellent French in Hayward

WLA | Sep 18, 200311:38 AM     5

Having just had a thread that developed around a post about "ethnic" restaurants on the LA board, and having Melanie Wong point out that French and Italian are also "ethnic" I wanted to give a heads up to those who might be in the Hayward area and want good and cheap French food.

The A Street Cafe comes highly recommended by our friends in Hayward, and so far they have never steered us wrong in picking Korean and Indian food there. We were trying to go here the last time we were in town, but they were closed on Sunday and we ended up at "Favorite India", (which I previously posted about) which is also wonderful and just a few doors down at 1235 A Street.

A Street Cafe 1213 A Street, Hayward, CA 510-582-2558
(basically on the corner of A St. and 2nd Ave.)
