I've had a craving for a long time and found some hot ones at HEB in Westlake. Roasted them over mesquite, peeled them and made a delicious green chile stew with pork loin, tomatoes and onions. It went well over scrambled eggs with monterrey jack cheese on top. I'll be making cheese enchiladas this week. I've also been roasting more batches and freezing them. HEB had a roaster out front this week selling the roasted ones for $2.78lb. But I read that CM has them roasted for $2.48lb. Chileheads?
