How does Indochine stack up against other Vietnamese restaurants in NYC?
I was at Indochine the other night. The place seemed more upscale than any Vietnamese restaurant that I've been to. There were 2 of us and we dined on only appetizers. The Vietnamese Baby Back Ribs were delicious. The steamed ravioli was fantastic. it was filled with shitake mushroom, shrimp , bean sprouts and minced chicken. Both the summer roll and the spring rolls were very good. I liked the sticky rice. The banana dessert and the lemon tart were really good. They do not have Vietnamese hot coffee, only iced. This was suprising. The atmosphere is really nice, the place was packed.
