I am searching for a good source of fresh Indian sweets in the Seattle area, but have yet to find any. I am also wondering about Indian catering. I am partial to Udupi Palace, and have yet to inquire whether they cater. I am having a wedding next year and would like to have some Indian sweets, but only if they are fresh and taste like more than sugar. When in Vancouver a few months ago I went to a sweet shop and everything tasted just the same, very soft, and it made me miss the place my grandma goes to in Riverside, CA. where the sweets have different texture and taste like their ingredients. Perhaps another option would be mail order. Hmmm...
