Well, I have been noticing this place for a long time (on Kimball Avenue near the Cross County Shopping Center).
Decided to finally try it for Easter side dishes.
Ordered three things that I thought would be a good test. Channah Masalah, Aloo Gobi and Okra.
I found their Web site and it looks better than the establishment itself. It says you can place your order online to be picked up but it didn't work and they never got it. Therefore I had to wait around for 30 minutes. I must say I got a bit worried because the place has all the ambiance of a Greyhound Bus Station in Hanoi. But, we thought, if it is bad we will just take one for the team since I have not seen any mention of the place here on Chowhounds.
I think we spent about $23 and it is a load of food. I just tasted everything and it seems pretty good to me. It is nice to have good casual Indian food so close to home. I mean, most places cost about twice as much.
Granted, it is probably not Moghul in Edison but for the money and convenience it is darn good. Just phone ahead so you don't have to wait around (not sure how the Web site works or if it has any use at all).
