The 2 loaf pans are in the oven now. Recipe says to make a lemon juice/sugar syrup to pour over the cakes after they've cooled for 10 minutes. Later, after they are completely cool, you're to pour over a powdered sugar/lemon juice glaze. (Hope it's not going to be too sweet!)
So, with the first syrup, she doesn't say to poke any holes for the syrup to seep down into the cake.
I'm going to assume I should not poke holes, unless I hear otherwise.
