I bought a frozen turkey on thursday, to defrost in my spare fridge. Unfortunately, the temp in the fridge was too warm (about 50 degrees). I will have to buy a new fresh turkey for my TG guests, but can I safely do anything with the thawed turkey? I am thinking of a long slow braise in stock and vinegar (350 for 5-6 hrs). I make shredded chicken this way, but can I do this with turkey?
