I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but there's some decent stuff on the Taiwanese menu wedged between the pages of greatest gringo hits and the inexplicable sushi menu. I don't know if it's new or if I've just never made it that far in the menu before. I've had some bad meals there (why do we go back? Because we live in Northern Westchester, I guess) so I was pleasantly surprised by a cold combination appetizer plate (especially good were marinated conch and a squid salad), a nicely smoky eel with chives, and a deeply caramelized, anisy ginger clay pot chicken casserole.
