"Illegal" Thai Place in West Philly

I got a tip about a Thai place in West Philly on Sansom on a corner somewhere between 44th and 47th that serves excellent Thai food for a ridiculously low price. My source was taken there and was not sure of the name or location, but said that it did not appear to be a "real" restaurant in the true sense. He was told that the place had been shut down by L & I but still was serving anyway. He paid $3.00 for a huge plate of food that he claimed was much more authentic than that which is found in the Thai places around town. He also said that there were live chickens running around in the back.

I was planning to take the El up and check it out sometime. Anyone know anything?
