Was just in Los Angeles (June 11-14/03) and had a meal at Il Fornaio in Rodeo Dr. area (not sure of name of street - Dayton??). Anyway, had been noticing during my stay that restaurants post their health board rating (A or B or whatever) in their windows. Only upon leaving Il Fornaio did I notice their "B" designation on the window. Oooops! What happened there? Even the "Nathans" hotdog joint on Pico had an "A".
Can anyone imagine what a relatively nice restaurant in a kind of classy area could have done so wrong (and then actually post their less than stellar result)??
BTW I'm still alive an kicking so whatever it was it can't be too bad.
