If you guys eat out as much as I do (I'm sure), you'll appreciate any cost savings that is available. Not sure if you guys have heard of iDine...but it has provided me a lot of savings. Many, many times over the annual fee.
Basically, with iDine, you get up to 20% savings (off of total, which includes tax and tip) at 100s of restaurants throughout Chicago area. iDine is actually a nationwide program with 1000s of restaurants throughout the country. All you have to do is use a credit/debit card that is registered, and you'll receive a credit on your account. No coupons. Nothing. The server will never know. You'll just have to pay the $49 annual fee to join the program.
Take a look if you're interested. Some notable restuarants in the program:
tac thai kitchen
green dolphin st.
.just to name a few, there are 100s more. I know there's lots of local "chowhoundish" type names on the list that I don't recognize and could be fun to explore. That's how I get to try lots of restaurants I may not have tried normally.
I am not connected to iDine in any way. I do not benefit from this post whatsoever. Just passing on something that I find very valuable...
