I am sure someone here can help me to identify a restaurant.
My husband visited Boston on business in February 1999 and came across what he calls "the best lobster restaurant", near the New England Aquarium. Of course he doesn't remember the name and address and wants to recommend it to a friend.
He says he was leaving the aquarium and heading east(?) back into the city and walked straight onto the door step of this restaurant. The restaurant was huge and like a pub with wood interiors and the lobster was cheap. We looked on a map and he thinks it might be on Atlantic but not more than 2 blocks away from the aquarium.
We thought it might the Chart House, which only seems to be open for dinner but he says he was at this place for lunch.
Exhaustive searching on the internet didn't turn up anything so I'm appealing to the chowhounds here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would also be grateful for any suggestions for great lobster eating in Boston.
