We stopped into an India-Indian Sweet Shop on Pioneer Blvd. in Artesia (Next to Indian Sweets and Spice Shop) and had a tannish-whitish bar which had the texture of coconut, but it was identified as a milk bar with sugar and butter.
It was delicious...but, what is it? How is it made? Did it provide me with enough calories for the month?!
We also tried another bar that was tri-colored (green, tan and orange) but it was not for our tastes.
What other Indian desserts in these bakery cases (besides the obvious kulfi and jamin) are worth trying?
