Hi everyone. I stopped by a sidewalk sale at Verjus in SF today. I found a thickish feeling copper pot that was a very aggressive price. I’ve always wanted to try a copper pot so went for it. It clearly needs to be retinned and I think it was used to prepare food in the restaurant. It is stamped Villedieu France with no other marks. The V is slightly imperfect. I’ve attached a few photos.
Does anyone know of a maker that used this mark without any other identifying marks?
Thanks in advance!
