I've been doing some experimenting, looking for something easy for the holidays that guests will enjoy, and I'll still have time to socialize. My most successful dish recently was Maine lobster raviolis in a truffled creamy cheese sauce. I purchased the raviolis from my trusted seafood market and put together a sauce from ingredients in my fridge. While it may sound like a strange combination, it really worked out well. A simple sauce starting with black truffle butter, plus 1% milk; Weight Watchers cream cheese and grated parmsean it was delicious. I topped the dish with a few shrimp that had been sauteed in the truffle butter and the dish was visually appealing. It also only took about 10 minutes to prepare. So, anyone with recipes/ideas to share?
