Ideas for random vegetable parts

Any more ideas for using parts of vegetables that are not commonly eaten?

I was thinking of using the pea pods from my English peas to make broth for a green pea risotto. Same with the nonedible leaves of artichokes.

Any ideas for what to do with fennel leaves? Fava bean pods?

What about carrot leaves? Are they edible or suitable for broth?
