We've experimented with a few brined and dry rubbed birds, and have consistently found ourselves wanted a little more flavor "oomph." I know this may be offensive to bird purists who love the flavor of their heirloom turkey, but we'd love a recipe with spiced or herbed flavors that permeate the meat and skin.
So any suggestions? We're willing to experiment a bit, with things like citrus, chipotle, etc.
