I've only in very recent years come to discover and love canned seafood. Smoked oysters were my first love....I can eat them plain, or on crackers with maybe a bit of salt and mustard and maybe hot sauce. I'm really wanting to make a hearty soup with them soon.
I also love plain sardines, sardines in tomato sauce, sardines in mustard, etc. Canned mackerel, kippers...you name it, I love it. I even eat the sardines with all the crunchy bones (maybe I have a deficiency lol.)
I would just really love some new ideas on how to use them. I would love to hear how others eat these foods.
