An ideal place for a “light meal” in Paris. Don’t be put off by its name - GAG.

John Talbott | Feb 5, 201810:43 AM

Occasionally, folks ask this site or me for a place to have a good but light meal before or after a mega one. Arnaud Daguin and partners have opened a small (20 covers maybe) super-epicerie that also doubles as a Cafe-restaurant (15 items from the counter, an entree and plat du jour.). It’s very reasonably priced - my bill with a smoked eel tartine, raisin pain perdu and a carafe of wine and coffee was just €40? GAG, btw, stands not for gastrointestinal issues but Gras, Alcohol and Gluten (their breads are terrific.)
