Ice Cream is too soft

Yesterday I made prune-Armagnac ice cream and rhubarb strawberry sorbet. I chilled both preparations overnight, but after churning, sorbet hardened beautifully in the freezer overnight, but the prune ice cream is still very soft. I used a recipe from The Perfect Scoop and it calls for both Armagnac (alcohol) and sour cream and whole milk (fats), which both prevent freezing...

Can I do anything with the ice cream to harden it up? Add more milk and churn it more?
