I've been on an ice cream making kick the past few weeks. It tastes great -- so much better than store-bought, but there is a residue left on the spoon. I don't know how to describe it, but it coats the spoon. I think the high fat content is causing it, but I'm not sure.
My most recent recipe called for 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream and 1 1/2 cups of whole milk.
Anyone have this experience? Is it the fat? Or something else?
