I have the cuisinart ice cream maker and have (especially in today's heat) enjoyed some good home made ice cream. However, I have one question. How do you freeze the ice cream once it's made? Lately, I have been re-using yogurt containers to freeze...But, I want the presentation to look really good this Friday when I make some ice-cream for a birthday party. Should I unload the mixing piece, and freeze in that bowl? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Also, if anyone has any great recipe for a ginger ice cream, I would give thanks heartily. I would like to use some crystallized ginger...perhaps a nut of some sort, it's to accompany a carrot cake. Thanks again!
