Hungry Coyote - Good eats

After reading an article in the Globe we went over for lunch to the Hungry Coyote in Waltham. It's on Moody st. where So Cal was. It was terrific. Everything was very tasty. We split a Regular Nachos and each had a Burrito (Chicken, Steak and Veggie). Everything was fresh, cooked right and spiced perfectly. They have two large bowls of salsa to choose from. Green and mild ( maybe tomatios, I'm not sure) and a golden picante, both very fresh. The manager was very friendly (he was the focus of the Globe article, and it seems to ring true. Very eager to make this a success) and helpful getting food to people and getting things right. It's family run which has a nice vibe , but if it remains busy they will need some extra help. It's set up like Anna's, where you can go to the counter and order for take out, but they will bring it to you if you sit down and there's a waitress. The inside will need some reworking (they could change things around to get more tables in) but they'll figure that out with time. With food this good we're going back for dinner and more fancier orders. Best Mexican food in the area.
