Another take on Hungry Cat

Cletus | Aug 2, 200503:01 PM

Went after the movies last night, and LOVED it. It was totally packed considering it was a Monday night at 10:00.

I thought the best thing there was the snapper carpaccio with peaches and "salsa". it was sweet, salty and bitter all in the same bite.

also really enjoyed the lobster roll, which was fantastic. although, i do have to agree that you don't get that much lobster for the money.

we still wanted more food, so we had a half-dozen oysters for "dessert" which were maybe the best i've ever had. such a delicious, briny taste.

oh yeah, the drinks were killer. the pimlico in particular was terrific.

total cost- 70 bucks for the two of us. a little steep, but totally worth it considering the quality of the food.

how are they for sunday brunch? do you need to make a reservation, or can you just walk in?
