Another "Hunan Restaurant" Opens In Rowland Heights

Chandavkl | May 8, 200603:53 PM

In a move likely to cause confusion, a second new restaurant named "Hunan Restaurant" has just opened up in Rowland Heights. The new Hunan Restaurant, in the 99 Ranch Market mall on Nogales St., is not related to the other Hunan Restaurant that opened late last year in the Hong Kong Supermarket complex on Colima Road. Rather, it is an offshoot of the Hunan Restaurant on Atlantic Bl. in Monterey Park, adjacent to the Shun Fat Supermarket. In any event, these new places along with Crown Cafe (which actually calls itself Hunan Restaurant, too--they're probably just too cheap to change the exterior signage) and Lucky Dragon have filled the gap left by the closure of Charming/Shiang Garden.
