I stopped by the new Hui Lau Shan in SF and I have to say i felt like I was in Hong Kong cause the desserts was so good.
I had the black and white combo which was basically black sesame ice cream and coconut ice cream topped with fresh fruits with some sort of coconut thing. It was prepared so nicely too which was a super plus. At 5.95 it was even cheap since it was so huge and i hardly consider anything cheap.
I also had the mango mochi which was recommended to me by the waitress as she had told me they had sold out of it every single day since the grand opening and I know why! It had a mango piece in the middle with mochi and coconut shreds on the outside.
I also had a taste of the egg white pudding (hot) of my friend's and on a cold night was super good.
The red and black chairs was also very comfortable and very relaxing.
The only bad thing was the 30 minute wait to be seated because it was so busy last nite but a definite must try for the newbies but definitely worth the wait. I'm sure to go back this weekend too!
