Hui Lau San - Hong Kong dessert chain

OK, I don't know where I've been, but this place has been in Chinatown(150 Centre street and the cross street that's one block west from Canal) for a while but I've never tried it until tonight, after a very hard workout. Maybe it's that dehydration talking, but I so enjoyed what I had here! This is supposedly a Hong Kong chain that makes fruit based desserts and other "Healthy Dessert", these 2 words are on the big, bright red plaque over the door. I was confused by the menu, and so ordered rather conservatively. I ordered a Mango Pudding: Soft, intensely mango flavored pudding surrounded by ripe fresh mango pieces, and topped with a scoop of something I can only describe as powdery snow - like coconut ice(?) that's drier than ice, and which in turn is topped with some more mango ice, syrup, something? I've love that coconut thing, whatever it is and however they did it. The whole thing together was flavorful, and refreshing!I've been tired of all those other Bubble tea places where the same fake flavored powders are use. Why didn't anyone tell me about this place!?!After I sat down and as I waited for my pudding, I started to notice that there are lots of interesting things that are not on the menu and that I'd love to try. So, I'll be back. By the way, there are also items with "Bird's Nest & Harsmar". I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try them, though they are supposedly very nutritious and does wonders in making one beautiful. In case anyone is interested out there....
